Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans fight postponed?

According to reports, the proposed UFC 107 fight between The Ultimate Fighter coaches Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans will be delayed due to Jackson’s role in an upcoming movie. The report also states that the announced B.J. Penn/Diego Sanchez lightweight title fight was moved to UFC 107 as a replacement for the Jackson/Evans fight.
For several weeks, various reports have indicated that Jackson was a finalist for the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming A-Team movie. There had been no confirmation from anyone in the UFC or from Jackson’s management team. However, it appears that the filming of the movie would take place during Jackson’s training time for the UFC 107 showdown, and therefore the fight had to be moved.
UFC 107 takes place in Jackson’s hometown of Memphis, Tennessee on December 12th. The UFC intended all along for Jackson to headline the event in his hometown, but it appears that will no longer happen.
It should be noted that the website where this report originated from has had a very inconsistent history of breaking stories, and several of their stories have been proven incorrect. However, they do have a close relationship with the Wolfslair camp where Jackson trains, making this story slightly more believable.
I speculated yesterday that the scheduling of the Penn/Sanchez fight was perhaps in anticipation of Jackson/Evans being moved, and it turns out that could be the case. If this report is accurate, look for confirmation from someone involved in the coming days.
