Bellator 25 Preview
While the UFC mulls over scheduling another Chicago event in the first few months of 2011, the Chicago-based Bellator promotion comes to the Chicago Theater tomorrow night. Scheduled for the evening are opening-round bouts in both the heavyweight and women’s 115lb tournaments, as well as fights featuring some recognizable figures to area fight fans.

UFC Heavyweight Shane Carwin Linked to Convicted Pharmacist in Steroid Case
According to a report on Alabama Live, former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin was a recipient of steroids from supervising pharmacist J. Michael Bennett, who was sentenced Friday to a four-year prison term after being convicted of “participating in a nationwide conspiracy to illegally sell anabolic steroids.”

UFC 117 Preview and Predictions
The coverage for UFC 117 has been dominated by Chael Sonnen and his lunacy, but the rest of the card is pretty stacked as well. There are two #1 contender fights (Fitch vs. Alves and Nelson vs. Dos Santos) as well as a pretty intriguing welterweight fight between Matt Hughes and Ricardo Almeida.
