Saturday night ratings good for UFC and Strikeforce
The viewership numbers are in from this past Saturday, and both the UFC and Strikeforce should be quite pleased with the results. Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg averaged 576,000 viewers for the night on Showtime, and peaked with 856,000 viewers during the Carano/Cyborg main event. Ishida camp accuses Melendez of greasing
The camp of Mitsuhiro Ishida has filed a verbal protest to the California State Athletic Commission saying that his opponent, Gilbert Melendez, used a greasing agent this past Saturday night. Melendez defeated Ishida by TKO in the 3rd round at this past weekend’s Strikeforce event.

Chuck Liddell to participate in “Dancing with the Stars”
Chuck Liddell has been chosen as one of the 16 participants for the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Also included in the cast of “celebrities” are former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin, and Donny Osmond.
