Alves says his weight cutting is ahead of schedule

Despite reports yesterday that Thiago Alves was in danger of not making weight for his UFC 100 welterweight title shot against Georges St. Pierre, Alves told mmaweekly.com today that his weight cutting is actually ahead of schedule and that he currently weighs 183lbs.

Changes in UFC 102 Prelims

There have been a few changes made to the preliminary card of UFC 102. Heavyweight prospect Junior Dos Santos, who was signed to take on UFC veteran Justin McCully, has been taken off the card for an unspecified reason.
